Our new Secretary of State, John Kerry, gave a very bizarre speech in Charlottesville, VA yesterday. It was even more telling, since just a month ago he was a sitting United Sates Senator. He rambled about how our foreign policy problems are the result of... are you ready for this... The United States Congress and the looming foreign policy cuts that are coming if the sequestration cuts take effect. Clueless and OUTRAGEOUS!

In legislative action slated for tomorow, Thursday, February 21st, the Assembly plans to vote on more than a dozen bills proposed in response to the tragic murder of undefended school children in Newtown, CT, last December. These bills have been put together quickly, were heard in a charade of an Assembly Committee hearing last week, and are being rushed to the floor of the chamber tomorrow afternoon.

Just in case you think that the New Jersey Senate is any less inclined to decimate the Bill of Rights enshrined in the United States Constitution Senate Majority Leader Loretta Weinberg removed any doubt last week during testimony at the Assembly Law and Public Safety hearing. More emotionalism and nothing to address crime or criminals. She began by "thanking the Assembly for working with the Senate Leadership" on these bills and assured the Chairman of the charade committee that "the Assembly and the Senate will work together on this package of bills." Let's show up in Trenton tomorrow. OUTRAGEOUS!

It is difficult to think of something more asinine uttered by a politician in the recent past. During floor debate in the Colorado House of Representatives last Friday on Colorado's concealed carry law, Representative Joe Salazar made some of the dumbest, most ridiculous comments you will ever hear about a woman facing an attacker and about to be raped. OUTRAGEOUS!

An alert went out last Wednesday calling together the brass of the Democratic Party about what to do to turn the tragedy in Newtown, Connecticut, to their political advantage. It was held in tandem with a push for legislation that will crack down on law-abiding citizens and strip them of their civil rights - in the name of preventing another Newtown tragedy.

"It does take great maturity to understand that the opinion we are arguing for is merely the hypothesis we favor, necessarily imperfect, probably transitory, which only very limited minds can declare to be a certainty or a truth." - Milan Kundera
