NJ Agenda 21

9063_trnsfeaturedI attended a hearing for the NJ State Development and Redevelopment Plan (aka - The State Plan) last night at NJTPA in Newark. I was attending with a crowd dominated by the Tea Party folks who have learned how the UN Agenda 21 agenda has been incorporated wholesale into our massive socialist NJ government.

The Dems and Repubs like to argue over state control vs municipal control, but the State plan provides both parties the slush funds and legal structure to take complete control of our lives. The Royal Presenter spoke in endearing platitudes to the little peoples, denying any power of Eminent Domain or condemnation in the State Plan. While this is true on its face, it is a bold lie. The State plan has been used extensively to delineate growth areas, and provides municipalities with state and federal funding to condemn homes and businesses, or to take them without compensation by ordinance and zoning.

The first stated goal of the plan is to “enhance opportunities for attraction and growth of industries of state-wide and regional importance.”.
Obviously, the state plan has failed to accomplish this because it grants nearly exclusive control and permitting of growth to the most massive and corrupt government in the 50 states. Our government is too busy using the state plan to condemn “industries of statewide and regional significance” to encourage growth or attract new business.

The goal of The State Plan should be that old dusty motto on our State Flag: “Liberty” and “Prosperity”. For a society can only have prosperity when they have the right to own and use their property without unreasonable or tyrannical regulation.

  2. I attended this Newark meeting as well and the writer is spot on.

There are three more public hearings…Morristown and Lakewood are next week. Everyone needs to attend these.

Advocates for Sustainable Liberty has created an alternative plan and a petition that will be submitted to Lt. Gov. Guadagno in mid March. Anyone who wants to sign the petition can contact me at george@newjerseypatriot.us.

This is one battle in a long fight. The State Strategic Plan will not have much effect without cooperation from counties and municipalities. They can do their own plans and we must fight Agenda 21 on this front as well.

This post was done by Sim Hitzel, a contributor who might not post often, but is always right on target.

Thank you for attending, and writing on this. You mention the Tea Party, they been on this for awhile, attending each one of these meetings beginning with Gloucester County (Clayton) So. Jersey. My thanks to the Tea Party groups and others who have worked so hard also going to Freeholders meetings.

This has to do with both Republicans and Democrats. George Bush Sr. in 1992 agreed to this, and Christine Whitman signed NJ on to this.
Again Kudos to all South Jersey Tea Parties, and others for your devotion and hard work to this urgent matter
