Conservative New Jersey does not back away from controversial positions when it comes to how conservatives should think and act. Here is a video by Reason.TV called “3 Reasons Conservatives Should Cut Defense Spending Now!” It should get everyone’s brain working. 
 

Now a lot of people might take exception with cutting any funding for the military by using the excuse that it will endanger our soldiers, sailors, marines and others if they are placed in a hostile environment. To that I will offer this one way that special interests are wasting defense funding and that elimination of line items like these would allow for a reduction in funding without endangering any of our fighting folks.

The military is being forced to buy biofuels at a cost of 9 times or more versus conventional fuels.

Reason TV is absolutely right in saying that Conservatives must cut the defense budget. But Conservatives can do it by cutting out the fat and waste that the liberals pack into it. They can make sure that every damn dime that is spent is for DEFENSE and not for a bunch of whacko ideas being pushed by a bunch of morons.
