Blackburn Rails Against Net Neutrality
In a very entertaining opening session, which was punctuated with a hilarious discussion about CINO’s, (Conservatives In Name Only), Congresswoman Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee held nothing back in railing against the FCC and President Obama’s blatant attempt at restricting our American Freedoms.
Ann McElhinney, producer of Not Evil Just Wrong, the acclaimed documentary debunking Al Gore’s climate change fear mongering took the stage and delivered a very entertaining diatribe regarding CINO’s.
“You know you are a CINO if you think humans can change your weather”
“You know you are a CINO if you won’t drill offshore”
“You know you are CINO if you support the government dictating what light bulb you can buy and use”
I know I’m not doing her justice, but she went on for several minutes giving those in attendance plenty of red meat. She was well received.
When Congresswoman Blackburn took the stage, the crowd was certainly eager to hear her thoughts on the current administration. RightOnline was the perfect place for her to rail against Obama’s plans to take over and control the internet. She was very good as she discussed the tremendous contributions technology and the Internet have made to our every day life, and then proceeded to carve up Obama and the FCC for wanting to stifle it, by controlling and taking it over. She was passionate and very well received by everyone in the room.
Why does Marsha Want Congress to Regulate the Internet? Why not just say NO FEDERAL branch (the FCC and congress and the federal courts included) has any authority to decide or rule on any aspect concerning the Internet?
BUT Marsha Blackburn did Vote FOR: Patriot Act Reauthorization, Electronic Surveillance, Funding the REAL ID Act (National ID), Foreign Intelligence Surveillance, Thought Crimes “Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act, Warrantless Searches, Employee Verification Program, Body Imaging Screening, Patriot Act extension; and only NOW she is worried about free speech, privacy, and government take over of the internet?
Marsha Blackburn is my Congressman.
